The calculating algorithm of the programs has been proven effective by decades of its application in project institutions on different platforms, beginning with SM EVM (System of mini-computers developed in USSR in 1970-80s).

LineNet10 program is designated for calculating voltage losses, short-circuit currents and other parameters of designed and existing electric networks of 6, 10, 20kV in normal and breakdown modes.
The schemes of the network could be presented graphically (LineNet10Cad, LineNet10btCad versions), which allows creating albums of existing 10kV networks, calculating and tracking their state. The number of input networks is unlimited.
The calculation results are ported to AutoCad or some other graphical package supporting dxf exchange file.

LineNet10bt version of the program is developed in 2011-2012, it performs calculations considering and inconsiderate of booster transformers as suggested by  “Innovative Energetics” company. Installing booster transformers will lead to increase of the lines’ transmission capacity, doubling the length of the lines and augmenting the quality of the power energy. This is a great solution for the lines running along oil and gas pipe-lines, highways and other lengthy lines. At least two calculations should be performed for the project - considering and inconsiderate of booster transformer to justify the necessity of its installation.

The basic difference of the calculations by the program as compared to “manual” calculation is that the maximum loads are defined according to seasonal and daily charts of particular 10/0.4kV transformer substations.

The program allows selecting sectional areas for insulated and uninsulated wires, cables, provided the permissible voltage losses in the network are taken into account.
The source data of the program package could store
information on all the lines of the district, all the networks of a power enterprise, with the data on the links with substations of the lowes voltage of 6, 10, 20 kV. It gives an opportunity of tracking the changes and transmission capacity of networks, which is convenient when preparing technical tasks for connecting new consumers.

Simultaneously, one could track the current state of the networks and promptly work on the schemes of their future development.
It is easy to evaluate the voltage losses in a network and make decisions on its reconstruction. The program is useful for power auditing of enterprises and power-supplying organizations.

Breakdown modes could be calculated covering the entire reserved network up to the head switch or a part of the reserved network up to the sectionalizing switch. For calculation of breakdown modes one should input the parameters for reservation sectors, between mutually reserving feeders. In case of mutually reserving feeders, any calculation between them could be taken into account.

The information of consumers is presented by 6, 10/0.4 kV transformer substations, for which the maximum load is defined and the chart of load corresponding to transformer substation’s capacity is selected.

The calculation results include all the necessary data for calculating relay protection with and without sectionalizing switches and circuit-breaker failure protection switches (Figure 3).

The program allows saving the source data for a large number of network junctions kinked by 6-20kV feeders, as well as study various breakdown modes in cas of mutual reservation by several feeders.

The program is adapted for calculating future development of power distribution networks of a single power system. In this case nearby similar 10/0.4 kV transformer substations could be taken as an entire load, inconsiderate of transformers capacity.

The reference catalogs of wires (cables) and transformers are editable.
